MACS-Autoclaves can process various types of hazardous and infectious waste, including medical waste, laboratory waste, food scraps, and liquids.
For the sake of the environment and sustainability, waste should not be burned but rather converted into valuable materials. MACS provides the capability to transform hazardous waste into ordinary residual waste quickly and to return plastics and metals to the industry. Recycling is fundamentally the responsibility of waste management or waste disposal operators
The disinfection process in MACS-Autoclaves combines mechanical shredding with thermal sterilization. Waste is treated at high temperatures without the use of chemicals and is brought to a sterile level that exceeds international standards.
The discharged process water is considered sterile. Whether it contains toxic substances depends on the original material and is the operator’s responsibility.
The MACS-Autoclaves are designed for continuous operation (1, 2, or 3 shifts).
MACS are designed for conscious use of natural resources and constructed for low energy consumption and are among the absolute highlights in a global comparison. For detailed information, please refer to the respective data sheets or contact our service support.
Space requirement: approximately 23 m². Minimum distance from the wall: 0.5 m – door side – at least 1.20 m. Ventilation: 6 air changes per hour recommended.
Waste incineration undoubtedly means environmental destruction and the associated harmful effects on people and nature. MACS offers the opportunity to prevent emissions and the destruction of existing raw materials and to generate a green eco-footprint.
The MACS autoclaves operate completely emission-free, without producing toxic emissions.
Due to the user-friendly application and straightforward operating concept, no specialized training or qualifications are required for operation. Training is provided by your personal MACS support representative during the commissioning process.
The installation requires only a standard power supply, a water inlet and outlet, and adequate space. No additional specific requirements are mentioned
Extensive support and maintenance options are available, including remote maintenance and on-site service by trained personnel.
The MACS system communicates data with our service center and transmits important information and necessary service notifications as part of modern machine technology. Timely detection of malfunctions and the early implementation of countermeasures help prevent damage, ensure smooth operation, and guarantee customer satisfaction. Additionally, depending on the agreement, software updates may be available to the operator, offering a range of features.
The systems are securely packaged and transported.
Approval always depends primarily on local legal regulations and authorities. All MACS-Autoclaves are manufactured under controlled criteria and undergo strict quality assurance and a comprehensive test run before delivery to guarantee maximum satisfaction. In principle, every MACS has all the necessary certificates to ensure easy worldwide approval.
